Intercede intentionally removed the Edit DN flag in V11.x of the product. The reason behind this is that being able to change values brought in from elsewhere, such as an LDAP import, or via one of the API’s might impact other processes, such as Certificate Operations.
The removal of this flag is discussed in the product documentation for V12.x in the Operation Settings section of the Administration Guide. Simply search on “Edit DN”, including the quotation marks.
This configuration flag can be re-implemented in both V11.x and V12.x of the product and possibly future releases. Contact the Customer Support team, quoting reference SUP-322.
