Why do some recently issued PIV Authentication certificates have all zeros the UUID in the SAN?
Answer:
This will happen when the UUID is supplied as all zeros in the XML that is imported using the Lifecycle API. When issuing a card this zero value is used rather than MyID generating a new Random GUID. The solution is to not supply this value in the import XML.
