    Issue

    MyID Desktop (DSK) client has a dependency on Internet Explorer.

    Description

    Internet Explorer is the only browser that is compatible for use with the Desktop (DSK) client in any version of MyID.

    Cause

    MyID’s Desktop (DSK) client requires ActiveX. ActiveX is only supported on Internet Explorer, therefore it is necessary to use Internet Explorer.

    Resolution

    From MyID v11.6, the Operator Client (OC) is available which does not require ActiveX.  Further details of the Operator Client for specific MyID versions can be found in the documentation section.
