Question: I was wondering if you publish support lifecycle for each version. How long it will be supported for, etc. We are currently on version 10.4.
Answer: Intercede’s standard policy is to support a version of the MyID product for five years from the date of release. This consists of 3 years Standard Supportand an additional 2 years of Limited Support. Beyond that the product version becomes out of support, or “end of life”. Any extended support beyond the five years must be arranged on a customer specific basis. MyID version 10.4 was released in July 2015, therefore it will reach end of life in July 2020.
Standard Support. Product development will be continuing. This will include;
• Newer versions of the product • Updated functionality pertaining to the version after the initial release (updates) • All bug fixes
Limited Support. Product development will have ceased. This will include;
• Newer versions of the product for upgrade • Critical bug fixes
