MY0049 Job Management – 'Job For' field

Question:

While running ‘Jobs’ MI Reports and looking into the Job Management workflow, some jobs will show the end user’s first name and last name in the ‘Job For’ column and others will show the Username for the target end user. Is there a reason why this is not consistent?

Answer:

The “Jobs” report in MI Reports uses a view called “wse_jobs” which in turn uses the “TargetFullName” in the vJobs view. The “Job Management” workflow performs a search on the “vJobs” view directly and the “Subject” column comes from the “Target” column, which is the users logon name.
