    You receive the following error when attempting to install MyID.

    “Unable to detect any IIS components, cannot install Security Management Console feature. Please deselect this feature before continuing”.

    This will be displayed if the Web Server is missing the relevant server roles. Refer to the MyID Installation and Configuration Guide – Section 4.6 Setting up server roles.

    Also check that  IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility role has been enabled on the Web Server.
