Does MyID support the Safenet eToken 5110?

Yes, MyID supports the following versions of the Safenet eToken 5110.

• SafeNet eToken 5110
• Safenet eToken 5110 FIPS

MyID does not support the eToken 5110 CC.

How to differentiate between 5110 & 5110 FIPS 

Using the SafeNet Authentication Client, view the ‘Product name’ and ‘FIPS’ rows and you should see something like the following

	FIPS variant	Non-FIPS variant
Product name	SafeNet eToken 5110 FIPS	SafeNet eToken 5110
FIPS	FIPS 140-2 L3 (FTB) initialized	FIPS 140-2 L3 compatible

What version of MyID is required for the Safenet eToken 5110?

The Safenet eToken 5110 is supported on a number of MyID versions using the appropriate Middleware.

Please refer to the ‘Smart Card Integration Guide’ for your MyID Product version or contact Support for further information.

What version of MyID is required for the Safenet eToken 5110 FIPS?

Support for the FIPS variant was introduced in MyID v10.8 update 2 using the SafeNet Authentication Client v10.4 middleware.
