    Error or issue

    Seen when attempting to capture fingerprints using Crossmatch.

    Enroll: Could not load file or assembly ‘Crossmatch EFTCaptureTypes, Version 3.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=317847022caf8b67’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

    Description

    Installing and configuring the Crossmatch pieces onto a MyID 10.8 Update 2 system

    Cause

    Crossmatch files were placed in the wrong client folder.

    C:\Program Files (X86)\Intercede\MyID Client Components\Biometric

    When the files need to be placed in

    C:\Program Files (X86)\Intercede\MyID Client Components\x86\Crossmatch

    Resolution

    The relevant files were placed in the correct folder and the problem was resolved.
