2.1 Requirements
This section provides details of the system requirements for using SecuGen fingerprint readers with MyID.
2.1.1 Operating systems
Fingerprint registration and verification is supported on Windows 10.
2.1.2 Supported devices
The following SecuGen devices are supported:

SecuGen iD-USB-SC/PIV

SecuGen Hamster Pro Duo SC/PIV

SecuGen Pro 20
If you want to use any other SecuGen devices, contact customer support, quoting reference SUP-278.
2.1.3 Drivers and library software
Integration of MyID with SecuGen fingerprint readers requires the SecuGen driver software to be installed on the client PCs and the SecuGen library software to be installed on the application server, web server, and the client PCs.
MyID has been tested with the following driver versions:

The drivers are available for download from the SecuGen website.
MyID has been tested with the following version of the SecuGen library:

SecuGen Library Patch SECUGEN-4.11
This software update is available from Intercede.
2.1.4 Prerequisite software
You must have the following software installed on each client and on the MyID application server.

Microsoft Visual C++ x86 Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022.
You must install the 32-bit (x86) version (VC_redist.x86.exe) on each client PC on which you want to use SecuGen readers to provide essential support files.
The 64-bit (x64) version must be installed on the MyID application server; this is likely to be installed by default on your server operating system.
