7.2 Known issues
This section contains information about issues you may encounter when working with the MyID Operator Client.
-
IKB-335 – Incorrect storage of dates
In MyID PIV, date fields associated to user attributes that can be edited in the MyID Operator Client may be incorrectly stored under the following circumstances:
-
The client computer is operating in a timezone that is offset from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
-
The current local time, with UTC timezone offset applied, puts the selected date into the following or previous day.
When this issue occurs, the date stored will be the following or previous day. The problem affects these fields in the MyID Operator Client:
-
Date of Birth – on the DETAILS tab of the Add Person and Edit PIV Applicant screens.
-
Expiration Date – for the identity documents on the APPLICATION tab of the Edit PIV Applicant screen.
This will generally affect US operators when entering these dates after 7pm (East Coast) or 4pm (West Coast). If you are affected by this issue, contact Intercede for further guidance quoting reference IKB-335.

7.2.1 Setting configuration options
When you set a configuration option in MyID Desktop, there may be a time lag before the MyID Operator Client recognizes the updated setting. If required, you can recycle the application pool manually to refresh the settings.
- On the MyID web server, in Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, select Application Pools.
- Right-click the myid.rest.core.pool application pool, then from the pop-up menu click Recycle.
This also affects the List Editor workflow in MyID Desktop. Once you have updated a list, you must recycle the application pool to allow the MyID Operator Client to pick up the new options.
