What happens if I lose or break my phone that has RapID-SL installed on it?
Your accounts should still be secure: the credential on the device cannot be used immediately by another person because it is protected by your fingerprint or PIN. If someone tries to guess the PIN too many times, it locks out the credential store.
You can also remove a lost phone from registered accounts just from the Edit User Profile option.
Once you have obtained a replacement phone, you will need to log on to each site using another method so that you can register your new phone from the My Profile page.
If you already have another device set up with RapID-SL for access to the site, you can log in with that. Otherwise, you will need to log in with you old password, get the administrator to instigate a password recovery if you’ve lost that, or perform a self-registration to create a new account.
Note that administrators can disable passwords on their WordPress site. In this case, it is advisable for administrators and subscribers to register an alternative device to cover this scenario and avoid the need to set up a new account.
