When you run the MyIDaaS On-Boarder configuration tool and try to create the AD security groups automatically, you may have an error reported if your execution policy is set to prevent you running PowerShell scripts.
Check the log file in the On_Boarder for lines such as:
[INFO] Executing scripts\sgCreation\securityGroupCreation.ps1 using PowerShell Automation (OnBoarding.PowerShellExecution.AutomationBasedPowershellExecutor)
[ERROR] ExecutionError File C:\Program Files\Intercede\MyID Bridge\OnBoarder\scripts\sgCreation\securityGroupCreation.ps1 cannot be loaded because running scripts is disabled on this system. For more information, see about_Execution_Policies at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=135170. (OnBoarding.PowerShellExecution.AutomationBasedPowershellExecutor)
If you see these, you will need to set your permissions to allow scripts to run.
You can do this by running this command from the 32-bit version of PowerShell (as Administrator): Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned
Then you can re-run the On_Boarder, skipping the registration steps, and the SG creation should complete ok.
If you want to reset your PowerShell to the usual default permissions afterwards, just use the command: Set-ExecutionPolicy Restricted
or, to revert to Group Policy defined permissions: Set-ExecutionPolicy Undefined
