Error
While running the installer for MyID v9 Core, the follow error is displayed:
MyID Server – InstallShield Wizard Unable to detect any IIS components, cannot install Security Management Console feature. Please deselect this feature before continuing.
Description
An error is reporting while running the MyID v9 Core installation for the web server. This error reports that it cannot detect any IIS components even though the server appears to have IIS installed correctly.
Cause
MyID is reliant on IIS having IIS 6 compatibility mode enabled, which is the IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility role within IIS.
Resolution
Add the IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility role to IIS.
